RV Trip 2018 - Part 6: Emeril's Delmonico Steakhouse
Our very first meal in the RV! You can see we were living like true kings, eating leftover burgers from Las Vegas, as well as chips & queso dip and hot apple cider with bourbon.
Breakfast in the Grand Canyon. I had gone out to watch the sunrise at Mather Point - when I returned I found that Leah had prepared this wonderful breakfast of fried eggs, bacon, and hot chocolate!
A beautiful sunset paints our humble campsite just outside Canyon de Chelly National Monument, where we met an unlikely new friend. Dinner consisted of pasta with a jar of sauce, which was actually pretty good, along with a couple Deschutes Black Butte Porters.
At Moab Valley RV Resort, just outside Arches National Park, we had fun watching the final runners in the grueling Moab 240 race (yes that's a 240 mile marathon!) cross the finish line.
Later, we attempted to grill kielbasa and peppers, but we had trouble getting our fire going. Luckily our RV neighbors offered to let us use their propane grill, so we were able to enjoy a hot dinner along with a side of buttered potatoes.
Two nights at Fruita Campground in Capitol Reef National Park, two beautiful sunsets, and two sets of grilled burgers (did I mention we ate a lot of burgers on this trip?). We finished the second evening by toasting marshmallows.
Incredible views and delicious grilled steak & peppers at Zion National Park.
